JANE HOW – ACTOR


Jane has worked as an actor for over thirty years. Her career includes starring roles in several West End plays, such as Noel Coward's Easy Virtue, Don't Dress for Dinner, Home and Beauty and The Return of A. J. Raffles for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Her other theatre work includes Oh Kay, Cavalcade and Getting Married at the Chichester Festival Theatre; Hay Fever and High Society at the Sheffield Crucible; and Crime and Punishment at the Manchester Royal Exchange, as well as many other plays all over England and on national and foreign tours.

On television, Jane has been closely associated with two high profile roles: Jan Hammond in Eastenders and Helen Latimer in Don't Wait Up. More recently, she has been seen in a wide range of TV dramas including Love in a Cold Climate, Daniel Deronda, Byron, Midsomer Murders, Poirot, The Cazalets, Love Soup, Judge John Deed, Casualty, Doctors and an episode of Bones. Jane's film work includes roles in A Good Woman, Miss Potter and, most recently, Cosi and Je Suis Daddy.
