Ben Parker
Soundtrack Composer
Ben formed the band Ben and Jason with Jason Hazeley in 1998, and the pair went on to write and produce four albums on Universal between 1999 and 2003. Ben continued to write for other signed acts and began composing music for television in 2008 when he worked on the BBC3 comedy series How Not To Live Your Life. The success of the show has led to a third series, which is currently in production.
Ben next worked on Sam Taylor-Wood's first feature film as a director, the John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy, as music producer, arranger and vocal/instrumental tutor. He also worked closely on set with the director, helping to co-ordinate all the live music scenes and also composing some of the incidental music for the film.
This year, Ben has worked on the TV series Skins and is currently involved in music production for the new feature film Bel Ami, starring Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci.
