SYNOPSIS: Based on a highly successful play, set and staged in Manchester, Sunrise for the Blind explores the themes of poverty, racism, neglect and underachievement amongst a pocket of society who are living below the working class. The audience is invited into a world that is harsh, unforgiving and bleak, with dialogue that is conversational and fast-paced and which cuts straight to the bone. However, there is plenty of light within the darkness, in the form of satirical comedy and social commentary.
